Elbow fractures constitute fractures the of bones of fore arm(upper end of Radius & Ulna) and upper arm(Lower end of Humerus. Elbow fractures are also associated with Vascular & Nerve injuries

SYMPTOMS

• Pain
• Swelling
• Restricted movement of elbow
• Deformity
• Numbness & tingling fingers

INVESTIGATIONS

• X-rays
• CT Scan

TREATMENT

NON-SURGICAL

• Splinting
• Medication

SURGICAL

• Distal Humerus: Plates and screws, Wires
• Olecranon Frcature : Tensiow band wiring (TBW), Plates and screws
• Radial head/Neck fractures: Plates and screws or excision
